Starter: Use Google to find out what a Database is, find 15 examples.
Discuss with another student what you found and and also why an electronic Database is useful.

In this lesson you will learn about Queries, look this up. It is like a question, a way of filtering out unwanted data to find the exact pieces you need. For example looking for a student's phone number to call home about their missing HW!
Look at the lesson notes which the teacher will talk through, you are going to solve a case using the clues you are given to filter the data and create a query. You will also need to download the suspects database. Your teacher will walk you through case one.
