Look at the Python code in the Teachers notes, how many variable, constants, inputs and outputs can you count? Record you answer.
Main:
- Load up the Python Playground, this is used to try out the various code which you will be introduced to. www.canyoucompute.co.uk/python-playground.html
- Write down and record the main definitions in your exercise books.
- Complete the activities in Worksheet 1, share and peer asses you work with another student.
- Now try each of the coding tasks. Complete each task and record the answers.
- If you get stuck then ask another student for help or read the Teacher's Notes and see if this makes it clearer.
Plenary:
- Look again at the Python code in the Teachers notes, how many variable, constants, inputs and outputs can you count? Record you answer.
- Compare this to your previous count at the beginning of the lesson.
- Which counts have you changed and why?
